ATV Training.
All Terrain Vehicles (ATV's or Four Wheel Quads) are widely used throughout New Zealand for work and recreational purposes and are designed for off-road use. The Blue Wing Honda ATV Training Programme has been developed to enhance the skills required to ride an ATV safely.
The programme incorporates both written and practical assessment testing riding technique, dynamics and regulations on the use of ATV's.
The course itself has been used by OSH during the 1999 Worksafe Week and incorporated into the Young Farmer of the Year Contest. Farmers, forestry workers and recreational riders alike have completed the certified course. "I've been using ATV's for years but doing the course made me focus more on safety and my riding technique."
